How did August Die in Water for Elephants
Marlena discovers that august plans to throw jacob from the train and they run away together, hiding in a local hotel.In the ensuing panic, rosie (the elephant that august abused) takes a stake and drives it into august's head.August is a classic antagonist.August can't perform, which means rosie can't, which means that the audience is disappointed.August is supposed to stay away from marlena, but eventually he assaults her (yet again).
But jacob doesn't believe there's excuse for his behavior.A deadly neurotoxin and climate change are suspected of playing a role.It takes a long time for august to heal, which means rosie stays out of the spotlight.August dies after rosie (the elephant) pulls up her stake and slams it into the back of his head.I did, however, require a dictionary for a few words that were new to me.
